Puebla is officially referred to as the Free and Sovereign Stata of Puebla. Puebla is one of the thirty-one states that form the thirty-two Federal Entities of Mexico, to which the city of Puebla is the capital. On its own, Puebla has two hundred and seventeen municipalities.
The city of Puebla has a convenient location in the eastern part of central Mexico, and it is bordered by several states including Veracruz in the north and east side, Hidalgo, Morelos, Tlaxcala, and Mexico in its west side, and Guerrero and Oaxaca to its southern side. Established in 1531, Puebla was primarily used to promote trade between Mexico and Veracruz Port, which explains why it such an essential hub in the region.
Puebla is home to attractive features that date into its history, including the Puebla Cathedral which dates back to the Renaissance Era, featuring tall bell towers overlooking the Zocalo square. The Casa de la Cultura also dates back into the seventeenth century and is home to the colonial library with as much history on Puebla as possible. More such information has been preserved away in numerous museums across the city, with all forms of art and craft, as well as unique ancient masterpieces for visitors to view and appreciate.

Since the temperature in Puebla is tolerable and pleasant all through the year, touring is all-year-round. However, most visitors' check-in is between June and August, during summer and between November and January, during winter. Both seasons have warm and lovely weather and are free of extremely rainy days that could prove hazardous while touring the city.
